Sarah graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2009 with a B.S. in Biotechnology and a B.A. in Psychology. She then pursued her Ph.D in Psychology with an emphasis in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of California, Irvine under the mentorship of Dr. Emily Grossman. During her graduate work, Sarah received training in visual psychophysics and functional imaging. Sarah defended her thesis in 2014, and then moved to Italy to begin a 1.5 year post-doctoral position at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia with Dr. Lorella Battelli. There, she studied the influence of non-invasive stimulation techniques on visual attention and perception. Sarah is a fairly new addition to our lab, joining as a postdoctoral researcher in late 2015.
